Connect a new power supply
Learn about the different types of permanent and temporary power supply that can connect to our network. Find out how much it costs, how long the application process takes and where to apply.
How long will the application process take?
For large connections, you can submit a preliminary enquiry and discuss your requirements before submitting a complete application.
If you need to cancel or modify your application
Sometimes circumstances change. Reach out to your local Horizon Power office to discuss your options.
We'ill review your request and determine next steps:
- If the change is minor - we can continue the project. We'll invoice you for any extra materials, design work, and remobilisation costs.
- If the change is major - we may need to cancel the project. You will then need to submit a new application with your updated requirements.
We'll need to charge you for costs (time and materials) incurred up to cancellation.
If construction has already begun, we'll refund the difference from your access offer, minus any costs incurred.
Do you have an existing meter and power supply?
